The idea of left-wing bias in social media isn’t new, but has gained recent notoriety in the news as Donald Trump’s Twitter page has begun being partially censored in some cases by Twitter itself.
Outside of Regina’s Mosaic Stadium an unknown person has vandalized the Ron Lancaster statue with a phrase in large text written on the football the statue of Lancaster is holding.
“I think it could be a great way to promote our city. The more we can attract business here during these tough times the better for everyone. The city already invested a lot of money into the new arena district and so I hope that this can be achieved without more tax dollars being spent.”
Currently, the CFL is asking the federal government for $150 million, $30 million is for current losses caused by COVID19, and the other $120 million to make up for income shortfalls over the rest of the season, including the possibility of a short season, or low stadium attendance.
The National Hockey League just sent out an update on its situation with COVID-19 on Twitter stating that the hockey season will have to be further postponed as it is recommending that players, coaches and NHL staff stay in self-isolation until April 30.
It doesn’t stop there. Rapidly growing companies from the east such as TikTok are also potentially getting in on your data. According to a report from the Guardian, the app is potentially open to using your data for nefarious means due to their connection to the government of China.
