Derek Sloan and Pro-Life Groups Dominate During Conservative Party Convention

Overall it is quite ironic that the more Erin O’Toole keeps trying to sideline Derek Sloan, as well as move away from the pro-life organizations, the close the CPC base seems to grow towards them.

Sloan: The Great Purge Has Begun

They want people like me to vote and donate to the party, but otherwise to sit down and shut-up. It’s why the party got so upset when I started encouraging my followers to attend the upcoming Conservative Convention.

Erin O’Toole Won’t Commit to Fully Repealing Trudeau’s Gun Ban

As it can be seen in Erin O’Toole’s answer to Lawton’s question and follow up clarifying question, O’Toole mainly focused on Trudeau and the Liberals being “misleading” or “dividing” Canadians and “blaming” law-abiding people, which, in a vacuum, is a good answer to Trudeau’s approach to gun control, but at no point does O’Toole confirm he will repeal the OIC ban.

O’Toole too Afraid to Praise Trump and Historic Peace Deal

In the years of Stephen Harper’s leadership, the CPC would have been very loud in their support for peace between Israel and its Arab Neighbours.  So, when Donald Trump and his team successfully negotiated peace and open relations between Israel the U.A.E and Bahrain, indicating that 9 more countries might sign on, O’Toole and the Conservatives were curiously silent.

O’Toole Embraces UNFCCC Paris Agreement

Erin O’Toole often said during the leadership race that the UNFCCC Paris Agreement targets were “non-binding” seemingly as a way of not upsetting the base by supporting it, while still keeping his foot in the door to embrace it once he became leader.

Liberals attempt to Cancel Sloan, Continue to Support BlackFace

This is all quite funny coming from the Liberal party that also ignores and tolerates Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s past of dressing up in blackface so many times he was unable to answer how many times he had done it, as if he was as prolific as Al Jolson.

How Far Left Will O’Toole Take The Conservative Party?

O’Toole spent the entire campaign marketing himself as the “True Blue” conservative, but there were many people inside the Conservative base who felt that O’Toole and MacKay were both establishment Red Tories, while the real Conservative candidates were Leslyn Lewis and Derek Sloan.

The CPC Leadership Race Is A Four-Way Tossup, Despite What Inaccurate Polls Say

It would be strange to have people not motivated enough to research the candidates and send in a ballot to choose Sloan, someone they likely have never heard of before. This is to say if the poll was reduced to only the 47.8% of people who likely voted then Sloan would probably still have somewhere around 11.2% which is 23.4% of the vote on the first ballot (11.2/47.8).

OPINION: Which Candidate is the Strongest ‘True’ Blue Tory in the Leadership Race

However, someone should ask which of these two is the most conservative as in this leadership race, arguably more than ever before, Conservative members are looking for candidates to rank that are standing true to the principles held by the grassroots of the party.

The BC Conservative Debate: Winners and Losers

[The three] candidates were asked eight questions that were provided by party members, and one extra question from the moderator. The topics included climate change, coastal/ocean access, forestry/pump mills, indigenous affairs, housing, money laundering, issues of CCP criticism & racism, along with the problem of cancel culture and restrictions on free speech in Canada. An additional question addressed Trudeau’s new $343 billion deficit & economic recovery.
