Liberals attempt to Cancel Sloan, Continue to Support BlackFace

In the aftermath of Erin O’Toole’s victory in the Conservative Party leadership election, the Liberals have immediately moved to pressure the CPC for MP Derek Sloan still being in the party’s caucus.

Sloan had been attacked multiple times by the mainstream media, the Liberals, and more socially progressive members of his party during his run for the leadership for his mix of social conservatism and libertarian politics, as well as his willingness to criticize government figures like Dr. Theresa Tam for repeated policy failures.

The Liberals have launched a petition to attempt to force O’Toole’s hand and have Sloan kicked out of the CPC caucus.

With the calls for Sloan to be removed all coming just a couple days after the CPC leadership race wrapped up, it seems quite obvious this attack from the Liberals had been coordinated in advance and calculated purely for political effect, as they had not bothered to say much about Sloan until they could make it an issue for the new Conservative leader.

Liberal MP Pam Damoff had produced the predictable list of attacks on Sloan saying that if O’Toole did not remove him he would be condoning, “racism, misogyny, and bigotry, within his own Caucus,” with evidence of snippets of statements made by Sloan either pulled out of context or implied to be wrong due to going against the Liberal’s orthodoxy.

This is all quite funny coming from the Liberal party that continues to ignore and tolerate Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s past of dressing up in blackface so often he could not remember exactly how many times he had done it, as if he was as prolific as Al Jolson.

So it is wrong for Sloan to oppose Bill C-8, but Trudeau, referred to by some as “Prime Minister Blackface,” is allowed to keep his job despite a scandal that would have sunk any other MP?

It should also be remembered that the Liberal Party allowed MP Marwan Tabbara to run for reelection in 2019 despite the knowledge that Tabarra was being investigated for sexual harassment due to his behavior in the 2015 election campaign towards female staff.

Tabarra was later arrested on two assault charges and a break and enter charge, at which point the Liberals finally removed him from their caucus when the media began reporting on his crimes.

There is little doubt the Liberals know what they are doing to Sloan is little more than a political maneuver to drum up some bad press against the CPC in the early days of O’Toole’s time as leader.

It is almost like the Liberals are trying to parody themselves. Somehow Sloan is the racist for criticizing someone who happens to be of Chinese heritage, but Trudeau isn’t racist for performing racial mockery, and the Liberals are not being misogynists for valuing Tabbara getting back into Parliament over addressing his dicey history with women.

The mainstream media definitely will not hold the Liberals to account for their hypocrisy here, as they also have the perspective that Sloan promoting socially conservative, and libertarian political views is worthy of scorn, whereas Trudeau can get away with any amount of corruption, and mimicking of minstrel shows and the media will ensure that the Prime Minister will land on his feet through their soft coverage.

The Liberal left and their media are such hypocrites. Derick Sloan is the farthest thing from racist. The leftist Liberals are the true intolerant , cancel you fascists.

Someone needs to stand up to that idiot. He seriously looks like hes gone on a massive bender. If kids are supposed to be going back to school why is parliament not back in? Hes only delaying the inevitable and making a laughing stock of canada.

Sloan is wrong on conversion therapy – no doubt about it – but so is Lewis. Why aren’t the LPC hyenas going after her? Oh yeah … she’s a she and she’s black.
