The vaccine mandate put on healthcare workers in Alberta by the Alberta Health Service officially fell apart just a few days ago. Although we should have never placed an unconstitutional mandate on healthcare workers, at the very least the AHS helped prove that vaccine mandates do more harm than good, especially when placed on an […]
The Alberta Health Service would have to know how ridiculous it is to start vaccinating children between the ages of 5-11, based on all the available data, but they are pushing forward anyway and seemingly attempting to propagandize parents into vaccinating young children who do not need to be.
In one of the most startling disconnects between the Alberta government and AHS fearmongering and reality, despite Red Deer Regional Hospital being said to be over 100 percent of normal capacity, there seems to be little evidence inside the hospital of a massive surge in patients.
Just a few days ago it was noted by skeptics of AHS’ performance during the pandemic that they are now reducing ICU capacity, in spite of the need for more capacity to catch up on the backlog of delayed surgeries.
According to publicly available data, the AHS has actually significantly reduced available ICU beds over the past two weeks from 376 to 325.
Barnes is right that the government and AHS failed to increase ICU capacity despite confirming that they had the ability to in their own reports, yet the government, and many legacy media outlets have continued to blame unvaccinated Albertans for ICU bed shortages at the hospitals.
“Last week I was informed through the health care workers group I support, that a senior staff member at Villa Caritas Care Home in Edmonton stated that they would “Slow Code” any person who was unvaccinated. This statement was made to another health care worker in an area that was monitored by a camera.”
It seemed blatantly irresponsible to the average Albertan for AHS to decide it did not need around 25 percent of its entire workforce, casual or not, and so AHS is now having to reorganize its plans for mandating the vaccine for healthcare professionals.
A lot of Calgarians have taken it for granted that just because Naheed Nenshi is not running for reelection as mayor that the city is moving away from trends of yearly increases in property taxes. It seems unthinkable that anyone in the year 2021 would be foolish enough to continue making it more expensive to live in Calgary while downtown is facing an office vacancy rate of 30 percent, but to politicians supported by Big Union money, it’s a no-brainer.
From all the information I have looked through, it seems like the most logical conclusion that AHS is staffed with mostly NDP-friendly bureaucrats who would like nothing better than to make Kenney look worse than he already does.
