As if to confirm that attempting to remove 26,255 “casual” healthcare employees from the workforce was wrong, Alberta Health Service has blinked on their mandatory vaccination policy for all workers and has pushed back the date for the mandate by a month to November 30.
AHS CEO Dr. Verna Yiu stated:
We are extending the deadline to give all employees more time to submit their proof of vaccination and, if they haven’t yet, to get fully vaccinated…We would like to thank those staff members who have already submitted their proof of immunization, and strongly urge those who haven’t to do so as soon as possible.
It seemed blatantly irresponsible to the average Albertan for AHS to decide it did not need around 25 percent of its entire workforce, casual or not, and so AHS is now having to reorganize its plans for mandating the vaccine for healthcare professionals.
We do not include casual staff in our numbers because we will not be calling on unimmunized casual staff for shifts after the mandatory immunization policy deadline. 3/5

By pushing back the mandate deadline AHS has also tacitly admitted that the risk posed to healthcare workers themselves, and their patients, by being unvaccinated is negligible if all of a sudden it is no longer of concern for another whole month. It may be a sign that AHS needs time to figure out how to cancel the program altogether while trying to save face, with the help of the legacy media.

Albertans remember that all healthcare workers for the first year of the pandemic were all unvaccinated, so AHS trying to portray unvaccinated workers helping patients as a great threat to public health seems rather ridiculous.
People can agree or disagree if someone should get vaccinated but barring a qualified medical professional from helping a sick or injured patient due to vaccine status is irresponsible in the extreme, especially in the context of AHS’ supposed shortage of ICU beds and hospital staff.

The reason the AHS backed off of their original hard deadline is likely due to a combination of unvaccinated AHS employees or those who think it’s wrong to have to declare their status, standing firmly against the mandate, plus reporting by independent media like The National Telegraph.
The National Telegraph had probably the most widely read story about AHS removing 26,255 employees from their vaccination statistics, with over 40,000 views (As of the morning of October 22). So AHS backing down from their mandate deadline is a victory for TNT, David Dickson, who has been compiling and making sense of all the data coming out of AHS, and Josh Switzer-Crowe (Angry Albertan), whose platforms helped spark the wide distribution of information published at TNT about AHS.
Individual Albertans who read the content coming out of TNT about AHS and spoke out on social media, or emailed their MLAs also cannot be overlooked as being another big part of getting AHS to back off of their unconstitutional vaccine mandate.
It is a good day for freedom when patriotic Albertans / Canadians can prove they can get big government institutions to back down just by speaking out as individuals.

Yes!!! There is no way that they can bully the AHS employees into getting this vaccine. Pretty tough to explain to the general public why a year ago they were good enough to take care of your sick and now unless they’re vaccinated they will lose their job. I think that they should just throw all mandatory ideas right in the garbage. I hope all unvaccinated a HS employees walk off the job and show them what chaos really does look like!

The real problem here as well is that the corrupt media has turned many of those gullible people watching the tube against those not wanting to flirt with an unsafe, untested jab. This anti-vaxer handle was invented for this purpose, even before this, when thinking people starting researching just how harmful these regular (not Covid) vaccines can be. It’s been a giant cover up for years and well planned out to divide people.
My big question is this: If this Covid jab is so “effective” then why does anyone else need it? If most have already taken it, they should not be at all worried of catching anything from someone who did not take it, since they themselves are protected. And therein lies the rub. They know it does not work, they have illustrated this by mandating it – so they want to grab as much coin as they can before people wise up to this. The health industries mandating these jabs deserve everything they get when they have no more staff or when their current staff members get cancer, autoimmune diseases, heart issues, strokes, death…from these shots. They will be in deep weeds soon enough and this will fall squarely on those who have been culpable in this from the start. More jails please.

As a patient, I totally prefer care from unvaccinated physicians, nurses, and staff! Vaccinated people are spewing dangerous, disease causing spike proteins to everyone they come in contact with! Just ask the inventor of this mRNA technology Dr. Robert Malone, or the retired VP and chief scientist of Pfizer, Dr. Michael Yeadon!

This whole thing is crazy! I can not believe the upset, angry and responses from the public. Do people not realize that this is more than just about the jab! Come on people pull your head out of the sand, people have died from the vaccine, now thrust went to kill our children! Why is that information not shared. I am a manager in the North Zone that I know for sure that the percent rate for vaccinated staff is no where near 97 %. The BZ is sitting at around 50%. Why the lies. AHS has a value of transparency that they are not abiding by!
