Tamara Lich Is Canada’s First Political Prisoner

Written By Daniel Bordman, Posted on February 22, 2022

This morning Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich was denied bail for the crime of “counseling to commit mischief”, a charge that until last week no one had ever heard of or thought could carry a potential 10-year prison sentence. Yet, here we are in Trudeau’s Canada under his Emergencies Act.

Tamara Lich is Canada’s first political prisoner. Committed what is basically a made-up crime, but being held in prison to show other freedom-loving Canadians what the government is willing to do if they step out of line.

In contrast, David Alexander Zergarac, the man who tried to murder 4 people with his car as a means of counter-protest to the convoy, was able to make bail.

The great irony of all of this is that Justin Trudeau’s actions in the last week have turned the words of his most unhinged detractors on the streets of Ottawa from mad ramblings into clairvoyant prophecy. Canada has now joined the ranks of Russia, China, and the Islamic Republic of Iran where a peaceful protest against the regime can now cost you your freedom and/or have your bank account frozen.

Two other convoy organizers faced punishments that would have gotten you called a conspiracy theorist only weeks ago. Chris Barber was arrested and released on $100,000 bail, while Ben Dichter has had all his bank accounts and credit cards frozen.

It is noteworthy that the Finance Minister, and World Economic Forum board of trustees member, Chrystia Freeland has expressed her desire to make some of these authoritarian financial punishments permanent aspects of Canadian law.

From her public statements, it does not seem that she or anyone close to her has considered the potential consequences of their actions this last week, instead she smiles and laughs while destroying people’s lives for the crime of political dissent. She either does not know or does not care about the damage she is doing to Canadian institutions.

Where the country goes from here, and will there be punishment for merely writing this article, are questions that no one in Canada has an answer to. The problem is clear, every aspect of Canadian society is ideologically corrupted. The politicians, police chiefs, judges, and the media provide cover for all of it. The solution is nearly impossible to fathom.

    Assassination that’s all I’ll say

  2. Davo says:

Policing costs of perhaps $ 100 million across the country, lost trade in the billions at the Windsor bridge alone, damage to our country’s image unmeasurable. If she never got out, that would be a tiny start toward repaying some of this damage. A message needs to be sent to Canadian bozos and I certainly hope Lich’s sentence is a part of that message.

    • JC says:

Reasonable fallout considering the gaping cows ( 158 of them ) that are at the helm.
Perhaps JT can ask Omar Khadr for a loan from his 10.5 million payout?
Are those the “ bozo” class to whom you refer?

  3. Jennie Anger says:

The only damage to our countries image comes from the government!!! Apparently Davo you don’t value your freedom!!! Thank God the truckers came to our rescue ❤ much respect 🙏 to the truckers!!!

Free Tamara Lich! Where is she? Let’s go and ask them to free her. The jail workers I mean

  5. Justin the turd says:

She should never have been arrested in the first place. Important to say, because otherwise you get dragged into the bail/no bail distraction.

Now, nither the PM nor the DPM will be guarding them personally. They merely command our brothers and sisters to beat them, arrest them, rob them, and keep them in jail.

The jail workers are Canadians, unless they’re the creepy no-identity green fatigued mercenaries who drew arms against and assaulted Canadians.

I’m certain they can be reasoned with.

Thanks for the excellent coverage of this abomination of "justice" perpetrated by the criminal, treasonous regime of Justin Turd-O and his directors at the WEF. One suggestion though… Tamara is not the first political prisoner. Pastor Artur Palowski is. He currently languishes in solitary confinement for having dared to speak out against this horrible Communist/Globalist regime. Regardless, Tamara is certainly the most prominent Turd-O/WEF political prisoner on the world scene at present.
