All signs point to it being the smart political move (as well as ethical move) for the Liberals to dump the ArriveCan app rather than simply keeping it in place and defending it out of a stubborn sense of pride.

LaGrange has been genuinely doing amazing work as Education Minister, helping to reform the public education system, and promoting the growth of the charter and homeschooling systems with more support typically monopolized by the public system.
From a responsible parent or just a rational person’s perspective, children should not be bombarded with progressive politics and fringe lifestyle choices growing up. The constant refrain from politicians in Canada is that we need to better fund our provincial healthcare systems in order to fix the inefficiencies. Almost everyone in government measures healthcare quality by the budget of the public system, despite wait times in most provinces trending upwards over time.
