Online Liberal Activists Are Calling Pierre Poilievre A “Fascist” Because They Have No Real Criticisms

If there was anything that would make you lose hope for hardcore Liberal and NDP voters is the trending hashtag #PierrePoilievreIsAFascist which demonstrates that the Canadian left-wingers don’t know what Fascism is.

Apparently, these Twitter activists believe that Carlton MP and the likely next Conservative Party leader is akin to a follower of the totalitarian ideology of Fascism because he believes in free markets, and personal responsibility, and doesn’t like the central bank manipulating the economy.

It is oxymoronic to believe that someone who wants less regulation and taxation on the economy is a Fascist. Fascism is a socialist trade-unionist ideology where the state takes control of the economy, as well as many other areas of public life.

The Liberal and NDP parties clearly map far closer to Fascism than the Conservatives, but Canadian leftists believe the lie that somehow Fascism and National Socialism are right-wing.

Outside of economic issues, the simpletons using the hashtag also believe that Pierre Poilievre criticizes dishonest journalists like Rachel Gilmore, and has audiences of mostly white people, in overwhelmingly white parts of Canada also somehow equals Fascism.

I think that the Canadian left’s social media activity has demonstrated that they know Pierre Poilievre and the more principled members of the Conservative Party are dangerous to the Liberal/NDP government.

The online activists of the left-wing Canadian parties tend to be the tip of the spear for testing out new talking points and attacks against Conservative politicians, and the fact they have already devolved to calling Poilivre a “Fascist” shows they have nothing. Whenever hardcore leftists have no legitimate criticisms they resort to name-calling and trying to associate pro-freedom policies with authoritarianism, because they seem to truly believe government control is true freedom.

Poilievre is by no means perfect from a conservative perspective, but the left these days has nothing to offer to counter Poilievre, so they are just going to try fearmongering tactics to try and overcome a Conservative Party led by Poilievre in the next election.

Thankfully it is unlikely to work.

Seriously, liberals are so stupid, I literally hate liberals. People are waking up to their stupidity and nonsense.
