Calgary-Nose Hill MP Michelle Rempel Garner’s pose as an anti-woke politician did not last very long. Despite just a few months ago standing up in Parliament and declaring “enough with the woke s***” Rempel has gone back to her socially left-wing ways and is once again attacking parents who don’t share her transgressive views on what is and is not appropriate.
Rempel is now taking issue with Calgary parents protesting an “all ages” drag show and stated a couple of days ago “because it’s important to say, I stand in support of the LGBTQ+ community. No room for hate in #yyc, or anywhere” in a tweet about the protest.
A wise queen once said, "If you can't love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?"
Words to live by.

Of course, Michelle Rempel also removes the ability for anyone to reply to her tweets because she sees all disagreement as a form of “hate.” It doesn’t matter that the majority of parents would see it as inappropriate to bring their children to an event with men dressing up as exaggerated forms of a women, Rempel sees any traditional moral standard as bigoted.
It should be noted that the drag event that the protesters were opposing literally had advertisements posted to the Rec Room’s Facebook page showing an inappropriately-dressed man twerking. This ad still stated the event was intended for “All ages”.
I think this all goes to highlight the issue of Liberals infiltrating the Conservative Party in strong Conservative ridings. Liberals in cities like Calgary know they would stand no chance at being elected had they run under the Liberal Party banner, so they simply pretend to be conservative to gain a seat in Parliament.
Other than making positive sounds about the oil and gas industry (although she supported Cap and Trade), Rempel has done very little principled conservative advocacy in her career in Parliament but has been protected by Conservative fundraising policies that disallow her from being challenged for her nomination if her Consititinecy Association raises enough money.
At least it seems Rempel’s career as an MP is coming to a close seeing as Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre did not appoint her to a shadow cabinet position, and it is rumored that process behind nomination races will be changed to prevent MPs in safe seats from never having to face a challenge.

Get rid of her.she shouldn’t be on any committees!!!
She was a foux conservative whit her stance on immigration so this revelation is in keeping. A conservative would be somewhat concerned with conserving Western Civilization That might be my top concern. Perhaps above economics.
Rempel is a backstabbing, untrustworthy, leftist CINO (Conservative In Name Only). She voted to Turdeau wannabe Erin O’Foole as Conservative leader, and was campaign chairman for crooked Patrick Brown. She should be thrown out of the Conservative caucus.
She is retiring. Did you forget to mention that? On purpose?
Rempel doesn’t represent any Alberta parents I know, and she can step out and find a real job any time. Lost the plot, move on lady.
