Trudeau Bets $600 Million On The Media’s Corruption

Justin Trudeau has decided to prorogue parliament until September 23rd in the middle of another major Liberal scandal. A move that if preformed by another party would have drawn heavy criticism from Trudeau himself.

The move is highly cynical, but a simple move to cover up the WE Charity scandal.  The Financial Post ran a scathing article on Trudeau’s moves describing him as a small time autocrat.  Currently, there is a lot of noise around the WE scandal causing the Liberals polling numbers to drop, and forcing Finance Minister Bill Morneau to resign from office.

Shutting down parliament will help prevent new information on the We scandal, like the exact amount paid to Trudeau’s family, from coming out as the investigations will be stopped until Parliament resumes in a month’s time.  It also undercuts many of Trudeau’s critics primarily in the Conservative Party and Bloc Quebecois as they won’t have access to any more new information on the developing scandal for a while.

This move will test if the Canadian mainstream media has any integrity left, as they will be tasked with holding the light to Liberal corruption.  But it seems that the Liberals have prepared for this eventuality with their $600 million media “bailout”.

Will the Canadian media rise to the challenge and push to uncover the truth of the WE scandal in a flurry of investigative journalism?  Or, will the news outlets perform the simple calculous that the Liberal party is counting on?  This being that if the Liberals are promising millions of dollars, vs the Conservatives are promising to take it away, will the news outlets protect their financial interests over journalistic integrity.

Canadians should be very interested in how, over the next month, Canadian media operates as it will be an indicator of where modern journalism stands.  Are we living in a time where journalists are the defenders of truth or corruptible political mercenaries?

Gees , you must be referring to Harper. Just like the rest of your moronic friends of the left, hard to come up with anything original when your attempting to defend a thief and a liar. Well save it you can huff and puff all you want, you know as well as everyone in this country no, in the world what he is. Who are you defending? Your own stupidity for voting for this useless piece of trash? Save it, in the end it will come back two fold to bit you in the ass…fool
