Ambrose: Trudeau is a “Cottage Coward” for letting seniors down

In 2018, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told Canadians that senior facilities would be regulated by the BC government, “ensuring the rules for the care of seniors continue to be followed.” In British Columbia, the CCP owns more than 20 homes in BC, where at least three have been subject to dozens of complaints about “neglect, emotional abuse, staffing shortages, health and hygiene issues and dangerous facilities.”

Obasan: Leslyn Lewis is the conservative choice

As a CPC member, I understand that as a party, we are looking to elect a leader who will be able to do the work to reinstate the Canadian economy, as well as fix Canada’s reputation on the international scene. While these are important, we also need to ensure that we elect a leader strong enough to be a force against the Justin Trudeau government. Winning the next election will not come easy, but with the right leader like Leslyn, the battle is half won.

Justin Trudeau is not a leader, he is a mascot

In other words, he is not on the field working towards a common goal with his team. His is on the sidelines riling up the crowd. He is the mascot for the international Left.

Beaumont residents deserve answers after multiple neighborhood shootings

We all deserve to have some answers. Who was this person? Why was the name not released? Was their gun license suspended? And if this individual is a minor, did the parent take the appropriate security measures when it came to these firearms? Will the 6 homeowners be compensated?

Addun: Liberals’ buy-back program is a complete fiasco

Based on the federal government’s new policy, the new gun ban will include more than 1,500 gun models based on overall dimensions and not the rate of fire or ammunition calibre, which would consist of 10 to 12 gauge shotguns hunters use in northern regions of the country. To achieve its goal, the federal government has announced that it will execute an “optional buy-back program” from Canadian gun owners of “Military-Assault” style weapons, which will cost the federal government $2.7 billion according to the Fraser Institute.

The carbon tax is an assault on the middle, working, and lower classes

In this context I can only see the Carbon Tax as class warfare, because with it only rich/city dwellers are able to reap benefits and feel good about their role ‘saving’ the environment, meanwhile sneering at/lecturing rural/working class people about how they’re dirty polluters, at the same time forcing them to carry the higher tax burden for these ‘green’ programs.

Early days in the coronavirus war: Was Trudeau AWOL?

And so, we see a troubling pattern. The former part-time drama teacher, and blackface actor, prefers to act on the “world stage”, even if it is to neglect the nation’s health and unjustly imprisoned citizens. Those of us who contemplate the problems with globalism are really worried.

Ambrose: Trudeau, Seniors Matter Too

Thousands of our seniors continue to be abused, neglected and have died. They amount to over 80 per cent of the province’s COVID-19 related deaths. The report highlighted serious concerns about staffing shortages, shortages of personal protective equipment, and failures to follow procedures needed to keep both staff and residents safe.

MAHON: Government COVID-19 fear mongering is responsible for many unnecessary deaths

Covid-19 is not a very serious disease for the vast majority of the public. It is ugly and potentially fatal to the elderly and to those with underlying health conditions. But if you’re under 65 you’re more likely to die in a car accident. Outside of long-term care facilities, fewer than 1500 Covid-19-related deaths have occurred in Canada.

Cantin-Nantel: This leadership race is do-or-die for Social Conservatives

This leadership race is crucial because it will define the future of conservatism in Canada. Our culture is becoming more “woke” and politically correct, and so is the Conservative party.
