Media is Helping Coverup the WE Scandal

Written By Daniel Bordman, Posted on November 12, 2020

Imagine a scenario where it is proven that Donald Trump gave $900 million to a “charity”, that charity then used the money to make Donald Trump propaganda videos for children.  Then with all the excess cash they were given they gave massive speakers fees to major officials in the Trump administration and the Trump family.  How long would that dominate the news cycle?

Well, in some ways you don’t need to picture it because that is exactly what happened in Canada, except it was done by Justin Trudeau and the Liberals in the WE scandal.

Recently, the scandal got even worse as it turns out that the legally ordered documents surrounding the payments to the Trudeau family were destroyed.  This is after they were delayed for months due to the Liberals posturing and shutting down of parliament.

However, the biggest scandal here might be just how apathetic the mainstream media was towards this. Only one article was written about it in all of legacy media in the Globe and Mail. Silence from the rest of them.

The day the story broke I watched all of the CBC’s flagship program The National and exactly zero seconds were devoted to the story. It was like a major corruption scandal involving the Prime Minister and his family was not newsworthy.

The corruption and gaslighting from the media here is rather insane. No one would believe that if this story had played out in the US and involved Trump instead of Trudeau that it would not be headline news here in Canada. In fact, it would be likely that this hypothetical story of Trump destroying documents would still be dominating most newscasts to this day.  Instead, it is gone and forgotten.

Canadians have every reason to be skeptical of their media these days, especially after Trudeau gave them a $595 million “bailout”, do they really want to risk undermining their biggest investor, the Liberal government.

Donald Trump once joked about how he could shoot a man on 5th avenue and not lose support, much to the dismay of the international media. However, we are nearing a point where we in Canada might be asking, if Prime Minister Trudeau shoots a man in broad daylight, would it even stay in the news-cycle for more than a day?

Of course. Trudeau let the mainstream media dictate the narrative and lined their pockets (with stolen cash, mind ye). You scratch their back…

I would guess if as a news media your on the federal government payroll , and Trudeau had bribed the news media with 600 millions before the election. I would think you have to be careful when you are on WELFARE

100% CBC is a public broadcasting company that sells out to highest bidder. People that follow mainstream media without research on behind the scenes on the internet are getting fed what Canadian news networks want you to hear.
