Canada Is Not Free Until Tamara Lich Is

Rape, murder, and counseling to commit mischief are some of the most heinous and illegal acts one could do in Canada. The only difference between them is that it’s rather easy to make bail on the first two charges. Or at least this is the Canada that Justin Trudeau has built.

As Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich is sent back to jail on frivolous accusations of the breach of bail conditions for attending the JCCF awards ceremony that a Judge had cleared her for attending. The cold reality is that the entire weight of the state is in motion to keep a peaceful grandmother in jail to send a message dissenting from the authoritarian covid policies of the establishment will not be tolerated.

There is no other way to interpret it, Tamara Lich is a political prisoner. 

The targeted political persecution of Tamara Lich is clear when you consider that during the time that the Emergencies Act was invoked armed eco-terrorists attacked the Costal gas link pipeline with fire and axes and still no one has been arrested, it seems like the RCMP is not even looking into the matter at all. Combine this with the rail blockade protests prior to covid that got widespread support in the media and Liberal party and it’s self-evident that none of those people who enabled it have any real concerns about infrastructure blockades.

The absurdity of the situation is that Tamara Lich has already spent more time in prison than anyone else has ever seen on mischief-based charges. The mental gymnastics that one would have to go through to justify any of this would be quite extensive. It’s very likely that anyone saying “well she broke the law”, would instantly flip-flop their principles if the example of a black teenager being arrested for j-walking while out on bail was brought up to them.

The great irony to the whole situation is that the supposed fears of Tamara’s inflaming rebellion could only come to pass with her behind bars. If you have ever listened to Tamara Lich speak, it is not the fire and brimstone freedom fighter that the CBC has led people to believe. From my interactions with her Tamara is a very spiritual person who likes to seriously talk about the power of “good vibes”. She is basically a right-wing hippie.

If Tamara Lich was free to address the people she would probably spend about 20 minutes talking about peace and love and then lead the people into a song of some sort. I know, a terrifying threat to the very foundation of our nation.

However, this is Trudeau’s Canada where peaceful grandmothers are arrested at work on nationwide warrants and made into political prisoners to send a message filtered by government-funded media sources.

My friend, and former political prisoner in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Salman Sima put it to me quite clearly on Canada Day when he said “There are countries that have political prisoners and there are countries that don’t have political prisoners. There is no country that has just one political prisoner.” The message is clear, either this stops now or someone else is next.
