Youtube Removed Derek Sloan’s Censored Doctors Press Conference with 650,000+ Views

Just today Derek Sloan’s team brought it to the attention of the public on social media that his widely viewed video entitled “MP Derek Sloan Raises Concerns Over Censorship of Doctors and Scientists” was removed from the CPAC Youtube channel (originally posted on June 17).

Upon being removed the video had over 650,000 views on Youtube, making it the most popular video CPAC has ever posted, which was well over double the views the second most popular video had.

CPAC being the nonprofit government-funded organization that films official parliamentary business so the general public is able to view it.

One may assume because the video was removed and because CPAC is government-funded that CPAC may be responsible for the removal, but the evidence shows they had nothing to do with the censorship of the press conference. (CPAC is well-known for being extremely non-partisan).

Youtube was the censor in this case. If you find an old embedding of the press conference you will see if you try and play the video that it states, “This video has been removed for violating Youtube’s Terms of Service” which means someone in Youtube itself didn’t want the public viewing this press conference.

It is quite ridiculous to have removed this video from the Youtube platform, not only because it is official parliamentary business that the Canadian people should have the ability to view, but also because what Derek Sloan, Dr. Byram Bridle, Dr. Patrick Phillips, and Dr. Don Welsh, said at the press conference, was entirely non-sensationalistic and in many cases organizations like the WHO agree and the CDC agree with them.

The WHO itself recommends that children not receive a COVID-10 vaccine, and provincial governments around Canada do not recommend people with certain health issues get the vaccine, which Sloan and the various doctors merely expanded upon. Dr. Bridle himself is an immunology professor at the University of Guelph and a novel vaccine researcher who is obviously not anti-vaccine.

The entire point of Sloan’s press conference was that there was heavy censorship of useful medical information, which Youtube seems to have taken as a challenge in order to further prove his point.

This was not the first time this press conference was censored as Sloan’s team had their own live stream of the press conference shut down by Facebook during the original filming of it.

There does seem to be a deliberate attempt by Big Tech to stop views that disagree with the government, no matter how reasonable and well-evidenced, from being easily accessible by the public, it is now gotten to the point that Youtube believes it is allowed to decide what official business on Parliament Hill Canadians are even allowed to see on their platform.

The press conference is still available on CPAC’s website and can be found linked here.
