Truckers Have Brought Back Freedom Culture to Canada

Written By Wyatt Claypool, Posted on February 3, 2022

In an unfair way, being focused on preserving freedom and liberty has always been considered to be an American thing. Canada has suffered from the social stigma that it is somehow ‘unCanadian’ to deeply care about the Charter or Bill of Rights.

The Freedom Convoy 2022 can be credited for not only pushing back on the government’s vaccine mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions, which has resulted so far in the Alberta and Saskatchewan government’s seemingly preparing to drop all of their measures, but also reinvigorating Canada with a culture of freedom.

The truckers and their supporters in Ottawa may be earnestly camping out in front of Parliament, but that doesn’t mean they cannot have a good time championing their cause at the same time.

It feels like the Tea Party and MAGA movements from the United States where people are unified not just based on citizenship but a culture that values the rights that should be guaranteed by Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It is a peaceful blue-collar cultural revolution against the snobbish anti-liberty attitude of the Liberal government and legacy media that sees freedom culture as American and ergo somehow “extreme” and “racist.”

The Freedom Convoy 2022 organizers themselves have been having fun at the legacy media’s expense, who have been consistently shown to be spreading fake news about the convoy, by appearing on American media to mock the unhinged Canadian establishment.

Convoy organizer and spokesman Benjamin Dichter even appeared on Steven Crowder’s Youtube channel which frequently overperforms large television networks for live viewership.

Canada’s government-funded and subsidized legacy media will only try and degenerate the convoy so they should be ignored. They actively hate the freedom culture the convoy is promoting so speaking to them would only lead to unnecessary negativity being poured onto a positive movement.

People can already find far more accurate information about the convoy on Twitter and Facebook. Anti-liberty voices are being rightfully drowned out by those sharing videos and comments from truckers and convoy supporters demonstrating that the convoy is all about ending the COVID-19 measures and promoting freedom.

The freedom culture that the truckers have brought back to Canada is an unstoppable force. The Canadian political and media establishment offers nothing but cynicism and snobbery in response to average Canadians demanding their rights back, which has only fuelled the fun-loving freedom culture the convoy is promoting.

(Below is a good example of a fake news attack on the convoy by the clowns in the media)

This movement might just bring an end to the fake news as well. The fake, grossly over funded media hacks are being exposed every step of the way…and at every turn.
