Donald Trump Calls Out Justin Trudeau’s “Tyranny” In CPAC 2022 Speech

Written By Wyatt Claypool, Posted on February 27, 2022

President Donald Trump during his speech at CPAC 2022 in Miami Flordia called out Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for the physical violence and slanderous rhetoric used against the Freedom Convoy truckers and their supporters.

Trump used Canada as an example of how an “advanced Western democracy” can be corrupted to the point the government “violently put down” peaceful protests, and that Americans need to be wary of the move toward similar government overreach pushed by President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.

Trump noted that the convoy supporters had also had their bank accounts frozen, and based on statements made by the Ottawa Police Chief they seem to also be hunting down Freedom Convoy supporters despite the protest being over.

At one point Trump stated:

They are being hunted down like enemies of their own government, treated worse than drug dealers, and murderers, or rapists. A line has been crossed, you are either with the peaceful truckers or you are with the left-wing fascists.

It should be noted that in the state of Florida, the Canadian truckers and their supporters have become such powerful representatives of liberty that they received two separate standing ovations during the short portion of Trump’s hour-long speech dedicated to them. It demonstrates that despite how strongly Justin Trudeau tries to resist the anti-mandate message of the Freedom Convoy its influence is undeniably powerful.

Trudeau cannot simply slander and dismiss the new pro-liberty movement, and his falling approval ratings and Liberal Party polling numbers are a testament to that.

  1. Joe tyan says:

Now the Ontario premiere Doug Ford has shut down 39 trucking companies and seized their equipment t for taking part …. unthinkable and treasonous.

  2. BJD says:

Wouldn’t it be appropriate to have a fund for truckers who lost their rigs, those who had their motorhomes, etc replaced? These people lost everything for freedom. That would be justice.

    • Dubois Gerry says:

they technically did, but the account got locked out and funds returned by GO-FUND-ME. they defined the convoy as terrorists
