Ben Shapiro Slams The CBC For Accusing Him Of Radicalizing Young Men

The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro took a chunk of the taxpayer-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) for attacking him with vague accusations that he is helping to radicalize young men.

In an article titled, “’It’s a slippery slope’: How young men fall into online radicalization” author Brock Wilson attempts to cast Shapiro, a mainstream conservative commentator, as akin to a gateway drug for young men to then move onto consumer more “radical” content.

Wilson describes Shapiro saying:

Though Shapiro describes himself as a conservative political commentator, his views are controversial — and some are outright discriminatory. He’s suggested, for example, that transgender people suffer from a “mental disorder.”

He then follows up and makes the following ridiculous claim:

While Shapiro is not affiliated with any hate group, experts in media, gender studies, and the radicalization of young men say that the commentator’s content is prevalent in online extremist communities.

And that’s it, that is Wilson’s entire reasoning that Ben Shapiro is radicalizing young men. Shapiro is not affiliated with hate groups, is an orthodox Jewish man, and has views on social issues that would easily represent a majority of religious Americans, but “experts in media” say otherwise.

He goes on to quote the “expert” but they still offer nothing but vague insinuations that hearing Ben Shapiro debunk the wage gap myth is going to turn young men into alt-right agitators.

Shapiro rightfully fired back at the CBC for this smear of his political positions. He shredded Brock Wilson’s characterization of him and pointed out the insanity that Canadian taxpayers have to fund the sort of left-wing political drivel that Wilson writes.

(The entire nearly 10-minute clip of Ben Shapiro talking about the CBC article is posted below)

For Canadian Conservatives who tend to be alone calling out the blatant bias of the CBC, and taking issue with the fact they have to pay $1 billion to prop up the CBC, it is nice for an American commentator to notice and call out the bias, and lack of quality, from Canada’ national “news” broadcaster.

Shapiro is so correct about the CBC. Their slimey journalism is full of insinuation and opinion versus facts. As he says, the CBC attempts to paint conservatives as extremist. I’m one of those taxpayers who has to put up with Justin ‘Castreau’s’ propaganda tools which include the CBC, Global News, CTV, The Toronto Star and other Canadian publications on the receiving end of almost 2 billion dollars of government dole, aka taxpayer $.
