EU MPs Call Justin Trudeau An Authoritarian And “a disgrace to any democracy”

Justin Trudeau may have the government-subsidized legacy media in Canada to defend him from criticism and ignore his authoritarian tendencies, but just yesterday in the European Union’s Parliament Trudeau received rarely heard criticism in an unfiltered arena.

Despite the CBC not covering the fact that 90 percent of EU Parliamentarians did not bother showing up to hear Trudeau speak, and that several MPs even criticized him before he arrived to make his speech, the clips went viral anyway.

All MPs who criticized Trudeau did so based on his unjustified use of the Emergencies Act and subsequent violent police crackdown on the Freedom Convoy protesters. They argued that for these reasons Trudeau should not be allowed to address the EU Parliament.

The most pointed and widely viewed criticism came from German MP Christine Anderson, from the right-wing Alternative für Deutschland (AFD) party,  who called Trudeau “a disgrace to any democracy” and went after him for praising China’s “basic dictatorship.”

No doubt EU Parliamentarians, especially from smaller parties like the AFD, are always looking for opportunities to get recognition by making bold statements that can go viral, but it is telling that MPs like Anderson are stating about Trudeau what  Conservative MPs in Canada’s Parliament will not say.

The toughness of the European politicians on issues of principle should be admired as Justin Trudeau has often skated by in Canada due to a media and political opposition that refuses to sufficiently take him to task for his authoritarian tendencies and corruption.

Our Prime Minister of Canada, a total disgrace to democracy.
It’s too bad we don’t have a democratic way to remove him and Freeland prior to the next federal election.

  2. Tammy says:

Glad someone out there sees him for who he is. Wish some of my fellow Canadians would take this view and somehow remove him from power. Why people have voted him in repeatedly is beyond me. Common folk are barely surviving under his #justinflation and taxes.

  3. Sue says:

Justin Trudeau is like "DANDELION FLUFF"…all show and NO substance…now make a wish and blow…GUFFAW!!!

  4. Don Hermiston says:

He won’t reflect on this. He’s a narcissist. He’ll be angry but will never change. He has singlehandedly turned Canada into a joke ruled by a clown and the clown’s helpers.
