Crimes Against Humanity: Wave Of Terror Unleashed On Kurdish Region In Iran

Written By Daniel Bordman, Posted on November 23, 2022

There have been recent reports and videos leaking out from the Iranian cities of Mahabad and Javanrud of the Islamic Republic sending in their military to crush the people in the Kurdish regions. On November 22nd, 2022 I heard a horrifying account from an Iranian living in a smaller city in the Kurdish region that paints a very clear picture: The Islamic Republic is engaging in crimes against humanity on their own people.

For obvious reasons, I must protect the identity of the source and what exact city they are in, but I will relay what they said.

I will start with the most important thing that they wanted to get across, they are fighting for Iran, and they are not separatists. They chant from Azerbaijan to Kurdistan they fight for Iran. The reason they were so adamant that this be explained to the world is that the main justification the regime is using to massacre the people in the Kurdish reason is that they have labeled them separatists terrorists.

This is a common tactic from the Islamic Republic, which actually funds major separatist leaders to create a domestic boogeyman for the regime to juxtapose itself against.

Many people have already seen the pictures and video of a green gas being used on the citizens of Javanrud, my source confirms that it is being deployed all over his city too. In their city, it is being used to block critical infrastructure and important gathering points. While it is still unconfirmed exactly what type of gas it is, they report that exposure to it causes headaches, dry mouth, vomiting, chest pains, and seizure-like shaking.

To compound their problems, all the hospitals and clinics are under the control of the IRGC. Any doctor that is found helping the people is instantly arrested. The people have no supplies either, the IRGC has every single entrance into or out of the city under heavy control. I was told by my source that a few friends had gone to Tabiz to try and bring back some medicine for the people, but they were caught and tortured.

The people are left to treat their wounds with just what is in their homes. But the horror of their situation is made difficult at all times by the regime as their water supply has been poisoned. If anyone wants to use the water inside the city they have to boil it multiple times as everyone who has drank it recently has become sick from the contamination.

These are the general conditions of the people in the Kurdish region; contaminated water supply, no medicine, ominous gas everywhere and militants all over the city that could kill you at any moment.

The militants on the streets are dressed in Iranian army uniforms, but the people do not think they are the army for multiple reasons. They have turned education centres like schools into headquarters which everyone in Iran knows that the military is not allowed to do. Also there are cases where the people have captured some of these soldiers who were attacking the people and in their belongings are IDs from Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.

There have been reports of some of the foreign funded terrorist militias have been called in to Iran by the Regime to help crackdown on the people, and this is confirmation of that.

Photo of Hezbollah militants in Syria wearing Syrian military-style uniforms with Hezbollah patches, demonstrating the Iran-backed terror group has a history of uniforming themselves in allied military uniforms.

What is happening is that the militants are going house to house looking for guns and Kurdish separatists from Iraq. So far none have been found since the people don’t have guns and there are no foreign fighters (that aren’t on the Islamic Republic’s payroll) in Iran. This just seems to be a justification to terrorize and loot the people. The militants come to your house and demand to enter and search it, if you refuse they open fire on you. Those who do consent to the search have their valuable belongings taken from them. Jewelry, electronics, and anything that has value is prime targets to these “soldiers”.

The people have continued to fight back and have managed to apprehend some of these people, that is where they have discovered the fact that a lot of them are not from Iran at all.

From the reports heard they are definitely not acting like Iranian soldiers, their behaviour is much more like the ideologically hardcore IRGC or Hezbollah terrorists. Violence is reportedly indiscriminate. Heavy machine gun fire of high calibre bullets are sprayed across town, anyone hit by the regime’s weapons can not get professional medical treatment, and in some cases, they have so much difficulty moving people because the regime forces have gone around town destroying all the vehicles and potential modes of transportation just to fully kettle in the people.

The people continue to resist as they literally are trapped with no way out, but it is getting harder and harder to fight back as the regime has now deployed drones overhead to track the movement of protestors and target them for later arrest. My source also told me that the regime has people flying helicopters at very low altitudes in residential areas. This intimidation tactic keeps people huddled indoors as the glass on their windows can shatter at any moment and can shatter and create flying shrapnel.

Again the people have no way to handle a serious injury and attempting to get help for one can carry a death sentence, or worse.

To recap, the people are under siege by the regime. Their water is poisoned, the power is cut off, they have no medical supplies, they are subjected to arbitrary searches as a guise for thievery, foreign militants are firing indiscriminately into civilian areas and there is no way to get help as all roads, hospitals, and clinics are blocked off. It is clear, the Islamic Republic is committing crimes against humanity against the people of Iran and must be wholly deligitamized by the rest of the world.
