Much of what Rouleau relied on to come to the conclusion that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal cabinet were justified in using the Emergencies Act was pure speculation of what ‘could have happened.’ No actual violence broke out at the Freedom Convoy protest, but Rouleau tries to dismiss this nagging little fact.
The report released by the Public Order Emergency Commission (POEC) headed up by former Supreme Court Justice Paul Rouleau declared that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergencies Act to clear the trucker protest in Ottawa last year was “appropriate.”
It’s rather obvious that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau lied multiple times during his testimony in front of the Public Order Emergency Commission (POEC) last Friday, but what seems almost more important than Trudeau’s untruth, is his contempt for average Canadians that oozes off of him.
Ministers Bill Blair and Marco Mendicino’s testimonies will not play well with the public, and they are not setting up their boss, Justin Trudeau, very well when he has to testify at the commission.
