Although what McKenna and the Liberal government did on that public works program demonstrated their utter lack of competence, and raises issues around further financial impropriety due to the lack of accountability, on an ethical level this still pales in comparison to what our current Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland just did in late 2022.
Notley and the NDP were able to pull off an upset victory in 2015, but because the traditional labour faction of the NDP effectively failed to win reelection in 2019, it seems that the woke faction of the NDP has taken the initiative and is now leading the party by the nose into the 2023 election.
On Friday, January 13th, 2023 a group of Iranian Canadian activists stood outside in the cold at Chrystia Freeland’s constituent office in Toronto, to protest the inaction of the Liberal party on their Iran policy. In particular, their failure to follow through on their promise to list the IRGC as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under the criminal code of Canada.
Apparently, Freeland is establishing a new corporation out of nowhere in order to manage this new massive sum of money, but no Act exists that would lay out the duties and limitations of such a corporation. This is very different from what the Bill stated, which would give the Canadian public the impression Freeland was purchasing shares in an already established green tech investment firm for the Canadian government.
On Saturday, January 7th, Arad’s father Mehrzad Zarei organized a memorial to his son and the other victims of PS752 at Elgin Mills cemetery. The memorial also honoured Iranians who have been recently executed by the Regime and those in prison for supporting the revolution.

So when Jagmeet Singh posts a picture of his toddler in a Canada Goose jacket when the majority of Canadians are financially hurting you just have to shake your head.
Canadian psychologist and author Dr. Jordan Peterson could be stripped of his license to practice clinical psychology over his sharing of political posts on social media. The College of Psychologists of Ontario which regulates the profession in his home province has disciplined Peterson over the sharing of political posts on Twitter.
Mayor Jody Gondek’s governance of Calgary has been so far disastrous, but at the very least it is proving the point even more clearly than Naheed Nenshi’s time as mayor, that fashionable left-wing public policy just doesn’t work.
