Trudeau Ditches Mask In Costa Rica While Testing And Hotel Quarantines Are Back In Canadian Airports

It only took Prime Minister Justin Trudeau less than a day to break his government’s own COVID-19 air travel rules after they significantly beefed up restrictions and random testing for normal Canadians at airports once again.

Back on April 1, Trudeau and his family were seen disembarking their plane in Costa Rica, clearly not wearing masks, seemingly without a care about what the Liberal government’s travel rules are.

Not only had random testing already returned back in mid-July, but just today random hotel quarantining will also be returning for arrivals, but only in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, for no explainable reason.

There is little doubt Trudeau will opt to not be randomly tested upon his return or spend 10 days in a quarantined hotel if he had tested positive, but at this point, it should be fairly obvious that Canada’s prime minister cannot comprehend the concept of hypocrisy.

Trudeau of course flew to Costa Rica in a private jet despite attempting to bully the energy and now agricultural industry into lowering their emissions, but that is almost trite to point out these days.

Nobody has much of a clue why Trudeau and Transportation Minister Omar Alghabra are pushing so hard for increased screening and travel restrictions again, seeing as our major cities’ airports are still experiencing unreasonably long wait times, slowing down flight departures.

Cases of COVID-19 and deaths are up in a minor way, but seeing as anyone who wanted to get vaccinated and boosted has already done so, there is nothing the government can or should do in order to prevent harm.

At this point, based on the Liberals’ reaction to the small bump in COVID cases, they could justify keeping restrictions in place for any illness, and I personally don’t doubt they will try to do so in the coming months and years.

Cold and flu season will likely become government restriction season with the Liberals still in power.

I’m so sick of Trudeau’s bullshit. The good news is the covid testing and quarantine hotels are just for show. As an unvaxxed Canadian I’ve traveled a few times over the last 2.5 years. I just refuse to install the Artivecan app, get tested or quarantine. I politely say no thank you, I’m a Canadian citizen and I am not required to do these things. Never had an issue except one idiot cop yelled at me and said he would arrest me. I laughed in his face and said, "No you won’t because you have no cause to arrest me. Good bye." That was it. They are trying to use fear an intimidation to get you to submit to these bullshit rules, don’t fall for it. Once you have gone through customs you are not obligated to wait in a line for PHAC and get a medical procedure done. Just go under the rope and go home. It’s that simple. I’ve done it many times, I just walk by the officers and say, I’m a Canadian citizen, I’m going home, goodbye. People need to stop being afraid of perceived authority. Public health are not an authority and have no arrest powers whatsoever. Ignore them, they have no right to tell you what to do.
