Tamara Lich Granted Release From Prison – New Judge Has Had Enough Of Crown Prosecutor

Written By Wyatt Claypool, Posted on July 26, 2022

The new judge overseeing Tamara Lich’s bail hearing this week, Justice Andrew Goodman, having a much clearer view of the law, has ruled that Lich should be released from prison and that the detainment of her in Medicine Hat and denial of Bail by Justice Paul Harris was “clearly inappropriate.”

Justice Goodman even directly criticized Justice Harris’ denial of bail to Lich by pointing out his argument for why Lich should not have been able to attend an awards ceremony she was previously cleared to attend involved essentially hidden conditions.

Justice Goodman from the beginning of Lich’s new bail hearing had been seemingly quite tired of the fearmongering by Crown Prosecutor Moiz Karimjee, who has donated more than $17,000 overtime to the federal Liberal Party.

Justice Goodman came off as quite annoyed with Karimjee and the general legal strategy of the Crown, who argued today that they should not have to disclose their evidence/information to Lich’s legal team.

Lich’s lawyer, Lawrence Greenspon (from the JCCF), similarly went after the prosecution stating at one point, “enough is enough” in reference to what he saw as the Crown carrying on legal persecution of Lich rather than actually trying to get at any truth.

It goes to show that the Crown’s legal strategy has been all about gaming the system and relying on Liberal-leaning judges to keep Lich in prison.

If they thought they had a solid case against Lich they would not be engaging in the tactics they have been, and would not waste their time attempting to enforce extremely narrow bail violations rather than focusing on proving the “mischief” charges against her.

Justice Goodman seemed to be quite tired of the Crown using legal tricks and use of false media narratives against Lich and decisively ruled after allowing Karimjee another chance at cross-examination of Lich that:

It did not help that Karimjee started going after Lich’s husband in court, using TikTok videos as evidence of wrongdoing, and badgering Lich about her Metis identity.

Lich on cross-examination easily batted away the Crown’s attacks on her heritage, showing the Crown to be clearly using a Liberal narrative against her.

The Crown’s cross-examination also ended quite poorly as the judge had to deny their last question which the whole line of questioning seemed to be trying to lead up to. Overall it seems like Justice Goodman perceived this to be legal theatre than anything that would prove Tamara Lich should be denied bail again.

After a break in the proceedings, Karimjee came back at Justice Goodman to argue he had enough evidence to show Lich would not abide by bail conditions placed on her, which Goodman then slapped down by referencing his ruling earlier in the day.

After taking another recess to make his final ruling, Justice Andrew Goodman came back to the courtroom and ruled that Tamara Lich would be granted bail and that the Crown’s case had challenges in it that they failed to overcome.

Justice Goodman agreed that not meeting with Tom Marazzo was part of Lich’s bail conditions but that the Crown failed to prove that the brief meeting between Tamara Lich and Marazzo would constitute a real breach in the mind of a reasonable person.

After that Justice Goodman declared that Tamara Lich would be released from prison today.

This is just another example of how corrupt our judicial system has become. We have a socialist ( wannabe ) dictator as a Prime Minister who seems to be getting more and more comfortable ignoring our individual rights and freedoms, and the way Tamara has been treated is absolutely disgraceful. Wake up Canada!

  5. Gail says:

Deeply disgraced, our leader is destroying this country. This kind of thing should not be happening, she is a political prisoner!

  6. Lorna Richardson says:

Justice ruled after Tamara was set up to use a Canada wide search warrant to send her back to jail. Once the big show with the Pope ends then a Canada wide search warrant should be put out for Justin Trudeau’s arrest. He is a far bigger threat to Canada than Tamara was or ever will be.

  7. Richard Courtemanche says:

A great miscarriage of justice, Liberals justices they were. Someone has to pay. When will Trudeau and the other parasites be arrested, charged and properly convicted!

Every Canadian is entitled to participate in democracy by donating the annual maximum to a political party without being punished for it.
Your statement reflects your total failure to inform yourself about our democracy and your own rights.

Have a feeling that Fuhrer Trudope will call a Fall Election before TSHTF.

"Crown Prosecutor Moiz Karimjee, who has donated more than $17,000 overtime to the federal Liberal Party"

Every Canadian is entitled to participate in democracy and politics in their personal time, including donating the personal maximum each year, which is all that Karimjee has done.
"would not waste their time attempting to enforce extremely narrow bail violations rather than focusing on proving the “mischief” "
This was a bail hearing, not a trial.

What no Hannibal Lector mask….seriously, shackles on this sweet lady says it all about our legal system!

  22. ellen says:

TRUDEAU is washed up.what he did to the people was incalled for. Instead of going to speak to them he found every reason in the book not to. A prime minster is suppose to work for the people of this "Country " but he didn’t ecen have the decency to speak with them. The vaccine mandates are out of control at tye bridge and for people to work. Listen to the concerns.
    Tamara Lich i salute you.

  23. Cher says:

    Trudeau doesn’t like opposition or
Confrontation. Period. Canada is supposed to be a democracy, however it appears that is only the case when you are in agreement with Trudeau. The legal system should NOT hold political views! Canada is not free with prosecutors and judges using politics as weight. The legal system in Canada should be based on laws, not politics. Thank you Justice Goodman for acknowledging this. I hope more will follow your example.

  24. Richard Courtemanche says:

As strong Liberals supporters, the Justice of the Peace and Crown Attorney should not have been involved with her case.

  25. JB says:

She never should have been in jail in the first place! The charges against her a result of Trudeau being butt hurt and nothing more. He’s a whiny, entitled little man bitch, and he needs to go!
