On the same night that Carlton MP Pierre Poilievre became the new leader of the Conseravative Party of Canada, Mainstreet Research released a poll showing the Conservative Party stomping Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberals.
The poll was conducted explicitly stating that it would be “Pierre Poilievre’s Conservative Party” which members of the legacy media have been predicting would hurt the CPC’s chances in an election, and in spite of that, the CPC has an 11.9 percent lead over the Liberals.

If anything, predictions like that from the legacy media should prove that they were always scared about the electoral viability of Poilievre, and instead wanted the CPC to elect another placid centrist like Erin O’Toole or Jean Charest, which would suppress the Conservative Party’s base’s enthusiasm.
There really is no danger in having a Conservative Party leader who will play heavily to his own base, seeing as most Canadians voting in the next election will likely have a far worse impression of Justin Trudeau than any other party leader.
Since August of 2021, Justin Trudeau’s approval rating has been sitting in the negatives, with currently only around 31-34 percent of Canadians approving of his job performance.
With Trudeau struggling to hold onto the support of the Liberal Party’s base it is far better to have a leader like Pierre Poilievre who has the full support of his own base already and can focus on winning over Canadians to the Conservative Party, rather than trying to replace CPC members with more centrist Canadians as O’Toole had tried to do in 2021.

Trudeau will increase buying ‘different communities to obtain the votes he needs
Pierre will bring a huge sigh of relief to leadership within the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada for sure. He won my vote and continues to impress many with his straightforward numbers accounting, and his commitment to proper political reason and action. He’s honorable and fair, something this nation has been without for a long time. We need change direly for the failing economic conditions under Trudeau and fair equal treatment for all Canadians regardless of whatever divisive tactics the Liberals can come up with on any given day. This nation is screaming for change and the NDP/Liberal unified parties have harmed the Canadian voters for the worse. So I think you can count on an election win for Pierre Poilievre in the near future. He was the man to bring out the WE Charity scandal that was costing Canadian Taxpayers Millions and was the first to put forth an equity bill for vaccinated and unvaccinated alike to ensure rights are upheld. As well as numerous other Bills that actually help Canadians instead of Altering laws to hinder them.
Pierre is attracting young people to the Conservative Party. This did not happen in many years. When young people with or without a college degree have no hope of having their own home and live in their parents’ basement, when college students have to pay more for a rental room than a normal apartment rent cost – they begin to realize they need to vote for someone who have had hard times, can identify with their plight and will bring a meaningful change.
