Currently, the CFL is asking the federal government for $150 million, $30 million is for current losses caused by COVID19, and the other $120 million to make up for income shortfalls over the rest of the season, including the possibility of a short season, or low stadium attendance.
The National Hockey League just sent out an update on its situation with COVID-19 on Twitter stating that the hockey season will have to be further postponed as it is recommending that players, coaches and NHL staff stay in self-isolation until April 30.
