How Israel’s Nightmare has Spread to Western Nations Through Migration

On October 2, 2025, during the solemn observance of Yom Kippur the holiest day in the Jewish calendar a terrorist attack unfolded outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation in Manchester, England. Attacks on Jewish people seem to have become a tradition since the 1973 war on Israel.

My Name Is Jihad

In this case, the assailant, identified as Jihad al-Shamie, a 35-year-old British citizen with alien values and of Syrian descent, rammed a car into pedestrians gathered for morning services before emerging with a knife to stab victims. Jihad Al Shamie, was already on bail having been charge with rape, a form of sex crime that used to enrage more liberal minded political figures. He also sent approximately 30 emails to Tory MP John Howell about the Israel-Hamas conflict, where he said, “It is people like you who deserve to die.”

This brazen act of violence left two worshippers dead and three others seriously injured, shaking British citizens across the country reigniting fears of extremism and terrorism within The United Kingdom and Europe.

According to Witnesses

The attack began at approximately 9:31 a.m. BST in Higher Crumpsall, a northern suburb of Manchester. Al-Shamie, who had a prior criminal record including minor offences prior to his current rape charges and was on bail, drove recklessly into a group of people outside the synagogue.

Eyewitnesses described him then exiting the vehicle armed with a knife, targeting those attempting to flee or barricade the entrance. Rabbi Daniel Walker heroically locked the doors, shielding congregants inside and moving them to safety. A security guard was among those stabbed, and police later discovered what appeared to be a suicide belt on the attacker, though it was deemed non-viable after a controlled explosion.

Greater Manchester Police responded, arriving within seven minutes and deploying firearms officers by 9:34 a.m. Shots were fired four minutes later, killing al-Shamie at the scene. Tragically, one victim, 53-year-old Adrian Daubly, was accidentally struck by police gunfire while blocking the doors alongside 66-year-old Melvin Cravitz, the other fatality. The injured included one person hit by the car, one with stab wounds, and another wounded by gunfire. Chief Constable Sir Stephen Watson confirmed the accidental shootings, emphasizing the chaotic nature of the response.

Investigators declared the incident a terrorist attack later that day, with a suspected Islamist motive under scrutiny. Al-Shamie’s background born in Syria, naturalized in the UK in 2006 raised questions about radicalization. He was not enrolled in any prevention program, designed to counter extremism because no such program exists in the United Kingdom. Although neighbours described him as unremarkable, his father’s social media history was alarming. It included support for Hamas’s October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel which killed over 1200 Israeli citizen and outrage over the Iranian strikes, indicators or the familial adherence toward radicalization. Authorities are examining electronic devices for further evidence of Islamist radicalization, amid broader concerns over rising antisemitism fuelled by the October 7th war Isreal is currently engaged in with Hamas.

In the aftermath, six individuals three initially and three more the next day were arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in nearby areas like Crumpsall and Prestwich. Police increased patrols at synagogues nationwide, and a major incident protocol was activated. Reactions poured in: Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the targeting of “Jews because they are Jews,” vowing to combat hatred without any specific details. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood urged the cancellation of pro-Palestinian marches, labeling them insensitive. King Charles III and other leaders expressed shock, while Israeli officials criticized the UK’s mass migration policies importing tens of thousands of extremists into the United Kingdom as a culprit.

This attack fits a disturbing pattern of Islamist-inspired violence in Western countries, where low-tech methods like knives and vehicles are used to maximize terror. Since 2020, Europe and other Western nations have seen a surge in such incidents, often linked to Muslim Brotherhood proxies like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Jamaat-e-islami, PFLP and other groups. According to Europol and think tanks like Fondapol, Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) and other national security advisors, Islamist terrorism has claimed thousands of lives globally, with Western Europe particularly vulnerable due to its lack of border enforcement and mass-migration policies.

Swedish authorities classified the case as murder with potential extremist or foreign involvement, highlighting tensions over free speech, blasphemy, and security. Although this attack was not by knife I have included it because for many of us, this was quite personal.

These incidents in the West, often involving asylum seekers or second-generation immigrants in the West, reveal common threads: online radicalization through religious extremism, radicalization within mosques tied to or laundering money for, islamic extremist organizations targeting symbols of western values, other minorities christians and jews. Europol reports a doubling of jihadist plots in Europe since 2023. The Manchester attack and its parallels underscore the relentless terror Israel has confronted since the First Intifada in 1987 marked by stabbings, bombings, and daily threats now extend to the entire world. This aligns precisely with Islamist calls to “globalize the intifada,” aiming to export that generational trauma and terrorize the West in the same unrelenting manner Israel has endured for decades. The Establishment of counter-radicalization strategies, counter-terrorism intelligence sharing, and deportation are imperative to halt this imported menace.

Shockingly there are still people in the West who do not get it. They do not understand that alien supremacist values aggressively hostile to the West cannot be accommodated. Negotiation and accommodation are seen as weakness by the aggressor. However now there is an additional layer to cause chaos, the intentional deception within conservative circles from former conservative voices like Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens and others who mimic paid public relations officials for extremists and lie to their audiences and deflect blame to the victims in the global war with jihadisms. America and Israel in particular, a tiny country the size of El Salvador, the only country in the Middle East fighting theocratic authoritarianism are the primary targets of this distortion. If the West falls you can blame deceptive voices like these for helping the radical left in accelerating this process of our decline.
