With a single tweet rapper Lil Wayne set twitter ablaze. “Lil Wayne” was trending on Twitter last night, the latest victim of the cancel culture mob, the rapper’s big sin; endorsing President Donald Trump.
This Thursday, Lil Wayne posted a photo of himself with President Trump, thanking him for a “great meeting”, after the two met to discuss Trump’s Platinum Plan.
Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done. 🤙🏾 pic.twitter.com/Q9c5k1yMWf

President Trump retweeted the tweet.
The angry twitter mob quickly responded with racist abuse and criticism of the rapper for even associating with Trump.
Have a good night everybody except Weezy.
You know, it’s part of the dream that one day every wealthy black entertainer gets to act as selfish and gullible as 2016 Anthony Scaramucci. But it’s hard to believe we’ve gotten here before, like, universal suffrage.

we, the black delegation, would like to trade Lil Wayne for Ellen Pompeo.

Lil Wayne, Ice Cube, 50 Cent, and Kanye West made music & promoted lifestyles that disregarded Black women, fueled homophobia, and flaunted capitalism…
Y’al that surprised that they are affiliating themselves with a misogynistic, greedy, anti-Black, bigot?
I’m not, don’t be.

It is quite ironic that Trump, the man the angry Twitter mob assert is a racist, is working with a black rapper who the mob is hurling racist and abusive remarks at for working with a man they do not personally like.
The Trump administration released their Platinum Plan for black America, back in September, which will stand on the four pillars of:
Opportunity – By achieving historic employment levels for Black Americans, as well as increasing access to capital for new businesses, President Trump has been committed to ensuring all Black Americans can achieve the American Dream
Security – By signing into law the celebrated First Step Act, President Trump has brought common sense criminal justice reform to the American people for the first time in decades, while ensuring that our streets and communities are safe for families and business owners.
Prosperity – As the first President to provide long-term funding to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, this Administration continues to seek immediate and generational advancement for Black Americans.
Fairness – As demonstrated through his actions to initiate investment into Opportunity Zones, as well as address health disparities, wage gaps and necessary education reforms, President Trump works every day to advance a fair and just America for the Black Community.
$500 Billion will be made available to the black community in an attempt to create 500,000 new black businesses leading to 3 million new jobs for the black community. Trump has also committed to working on a Second Step Act, to follow the First Step he took towards justice reform earlier in his presidency.
Trump worked with Ice Cube in response to the Contract With Black America put out by Cube in an attempt to pressure the presidential candidates to bring something to the table rather than simply running against their opponent.
The Contract With Black America was put out back in July and called on politicians to address 13 problem areas within the black community including bank lending, police reform, and prison reform. All of which are addressed in Trump’s platinum plan.
Ice Cube went on to say “When we created the Contract With Black America we expected to talk to both sides of the isle”.
Facts: I put out the CWBA. Both parties contacted me. Dems said we’ll address the CWBA after the election. Trump campaign made some adjustments to their plan after talking to us about the CWBA.

The fact that the Trump administration, and not the Biden team, agreed to a meeting to discuss how to be proactive on their work with the black community went a long way with many affected voters. Trump has seen a significant increase in support among black Americans, cutting into a traditionally Democratic stronghold.
The last few weeks we saw Trump endorsements from figures such as Waka Flocka Flame, Asian Da Brat, and Lil Pump. Lil Wayne is just the latest of these celebrities and, with a twitter following of 35,000,000, could have a significant effect on combating the Democratic Party narrative that the Trump administration is hostile to black Americans.
